CNA Certification to become certified nursing assistant
The certified nursing assistants are considered as the base members of the health care organization. The smooth and successful running of a care center very much depends upon the nursing aides. Though their main duty is to take patient care but along with it they also perform various other tasks too. The schedule of the nursing aide is very hectic and they only get an hour break in between their shifts. In case of emergency, they even perform extra shifts. They work under the supervision of licensed practical nurse and work according to the guidelines given by them.
The candidate, who want to become certified nursing assistant need to follow the terms and conditions led by the state board of nursing along with they have to complete the training session of at least 75 hours in order to get the permission to appear in the Certification Exam of CNA. The training session is offered by several nursing schools and colleges at very low fee. Some of the institutes also offer training free of cost. In the training classes students are taught basic concepts and principles of nursing. The entire syllabus of the examination is taken into consideration and the students are taught in best and effective manner. In order to make them aware of the job work of the nursing aide, various nursing skills are given them to practice. At the end of the session, CNA Practice test are also taken in order to make the students aware of the format of the examination.
The candidates can face the exam after the completion of the training classes. The candidates have to deposit the application form along with the examination fee before the date of the examination. The candidates are not allowed to enter with any thing except pencil and watch in the examination hall. The exam held in two parts i.e. written and practical part. The time limit for the candidates to complete both the section of the examination is 2.25 hours
